-Cal Comorera-
Palouet (Lleida)
WHY "CAL COMORERA"?
Comorera was the surname of our ancestors, the owners of the house. But in 1766, the only daughter of Agustí Comorera and Agnès Viladrosa, María, married Joan Bosch and thus changed the family surname to Bosch, which has been maintained over nine generations to the present day.
We began to think about the idea of recovering the house and turning it into a rural accommodation, with two objectives, to make it comfortable and to maintain its essence, conserving as much as possible the original parts, such as the stone arches, the wine press, the mosaics... Because we were aware that constructions also form an important part of our history and our lives. We have prepared Cal Comorera so that you can enjoy a small part of this little story.
We are an ARI (independent rural accommodation) located in the town of Palouet, a small town in the Segarra region, province of Lleida, near large towns such as Guissona, Tàrrega, Cervera or Lleida. According to the oldest documents found inside, the house dates back to 1766, although with complete certainty it has more than 240 years of history.
